| This incident was kinda weird. I was at UPenn bookstore last night when I past a older (45+) asian woman in one of the aisle. I looked up and casually said hi, and she returned the greeting in Korean. I (speaking Korean) explained that I was Chinese, which she replied that she was surprised and that my accent was pretty close to an Korean American's.
Normally that would be the end of this story. This is what happened next.
Woman: Well. I just want to let you know I think you're very good looking. Me: Ah... oh... haha... Thank you. Woman: How did you learn Korean? Me: From friends and mostly through work. I am a [blah blah blah.. not important] Woman: Oh that's interesting. What are you studying? Me: Business... in an MBA program. Do you attend Penn? Woman: Hahaha... no no no... [blah blah blah]... but my son does. He's a Physics PhD candidate here. Me: Wow... congradulations to you and your son. Woman: You know... I am young as well. Don't you think? Me: uhhhh... of course. You seem so. Woman: Well... if you... Me: It's nice to me you. See you around.
I didn't want to know what was developing. Women are aggressive out here.

| My last day here in California will be July 6. There's so much to do... to the house, packing, job finishing, and etc. Trying to fit your life in cardboard boxes is pretty tough and stressful. But it's definitely exciting. I'll still work for Kelley Blue Book as a FTE (offsite) until August and then as a consultant to the CFO while in the MBA program.
I'll be in Philly for a month, then off to the first leg of my MBA program in India by August 1 and return mid December where I'll continue on studies in Philly then a month in Tokyo then two weeks in Japan. It's going to be one craZY ass trip. Let me know if you will be in India this year, Tokyo in July 2007 or Shanghai in August 2007.
Some times I just feel like (see left). I feel like there's more than just what's here in California. I want to be out in the world and do things my way and at my speed. I want to walk around with my pants down and let me man-boobs feel the winds of change.

| I am moving from xanga to Blogger (or blogspot)... whatever it is called. I just like the customizationationizing ability of Blogger. Nothing exciting as usual. Here's the link... read it from time to time if it makes you randy.

| According to the new report of the LEAST AFFORDABLE HOUSING MARKETS (published by National Association of Home Builders), California took the top 11 spots. These spots are ahead of places like New York... crazy. And I actually OWN a house in the top five least-afforadable-housing-market area. Gosh darn it... I'm good looking AND successful!!! Wow... I'm becoming more Taiwanese by the day... I define success by the crap I own.

Unfortunately for my buddy, Danny... Ohio is all over the list of the top 25 MOST AFFORDABLE areas = Crap states (#1,4,5,7,13,17,18,20,22,23). Not to rub it in or anything, but this just further proves the need for you to be here in California with me living the good life... pointing and laughing at the crappy people. | | |
